Thank you for accepting me the way I am
Thank you for never saying NO,
despite my shortcomings and low
Thanks for been there.

The best you want me to be.
The way you even look at me,
And make me feel
I say thank you.

For the extra-mile willing to go
just for me to be what I’m to be.
For the smiles and the laughing gestures
I am saying a magnanimous thank you <
Thank you for the prayers,
the hope and the loopholes patched.
For the sermons on been a fighter not a quitter
even when I was and still a squatter.

Thanks for believing in my future;
even when the present cast a dark cloud
Thanks for the mental picture of the future.
You want me and all around to feature.

Without you the chapter won’t be complete.
The pages of this glorious book you make-up.
For trusting and making my life so beautiful
For clothing and dragging me out of this pit;
a pit that stinks of things so irritating and pitiful.

Thank you dearest dear
you’re truly a one in a trillion.
Thanks for loving this sinking ground
grounded by waves and tides in legion.

I couldn’t face alone the war and its sound,
It took your grace and faith to overcome.
One a thousand, two, ten thousand
with you twenty thousand chased

Thank you for the kisses in face of hisses.
When integrity in question
You remain an answer and solution                                                                                   Thank you, thank you my dear

What God was thinking when gave you?
Whatever it was, I am grateful that He did
For without you at this time
My life definitely seating on a time bomb.

Thank you for accepting me
